Individuality, free will, and the tension between personal choice and social control are, unfortunately, still relevant themes today. In our case, this is captured by the stylized expression of Alex’s intense gaze, paired with contrasting red, black, and white tones. The design draws inspiration from 1970s film poster art and incorporates geometric shapes into a timeless aesthetic. In addition to its cinematic roots, the poster resonates with today’s society by reflecting ongoing debates about surveillance, behavioral control, and the impact of social systems on personal freedom. Just as the film questions whether morality makes sense when imposed from the outside, the poster invites viewers to consider how modern social and political structures shape choice, identity, and autonomy, making the artwork not only a tribute to classic film but also a commentary with enduring relevance.
